  •   Cockroaches

Cockroaches are one of the most common type of household pests. Unlike most off the shelf cockroach treatments, the product I use is non-toxic to mammals and completely safe to be around children and pets once dry.

What are the signs of an infestation?

Some signs of a cockroach infestation include:

    • Small droppings on your walls and floors, particularly around the corners (appear as black dots)
    • Cockroach casings / dead cockroaches
    • Bad odour
    • Seeing cockroaches during the day!

How often should my home be treated for cockroaches?

I recommend applying cockroach treatments around “hot spots” every 6 to 12 months depending on your individual circumstances. Unless you have an existing infestation the treatment for prevention is part of our General Pest Control service.

    What is the process?

Firstly, I assess whether your property is infested with cockroaches. I do this by doing a visual check of whether any cockroach droppings are scattered around your property.

If it is infested, I will apply a treatment throughout the hot spots in your property. Depending on the infestation level, we may require a follow up treatment between 3 weeks to 3 months but this will be discussed with you after the initial treatment.

If there is not an infestation, I will apply a treatment around potential hot spots as a prevention.
